An online reservation system for Certified Genetic Counselors. It was built to streamline the process of booking appointments and to provide a platform for sharing resources. The system is currently being used by multiple clinics and hospitals in Japan.

Android kiosk app with webapp interface

An Android kiosk app with a webapp interface. It was built to provide a simple and intuitive way for users to interact with a kiosk, and capable of establishing WebRTC video calls. The app was used Nexco West at multiple road-side service stations across Japan with several thousand service-calls successfully made.

C-Drone

A drone with a first-person view that can be controlled from anywhere in the world. One of the main projects that I led while working at Rapyuta Robotics. Used primarily as a technology demonstrator for the Rapyuta Cloud Robotics Platform and the utility of telepresence robotics.

Ultra-wideband positioning system

An indoor ultra-wideband positioning system capable of tracking multiple objects with centimeter accuracy. It was used to track drones and ground vehicles in real-time. The system was used to evaluate the performance of various control algorithms and to provide ground-truth data for other sensors.

Autopilot top layout

Autopilot

An advanced autopilot based on the STM32F4 microcontroller. Onboard sensors include a multiple pressure sensors and inertial measurement units. UART and CAN bus tranceivers extend its functionality by allowing it to interface with external devices.EEPROM and SD card interface for persistent storage. Used originally for controlling fixed-wing drones, but was later adapted for use in multirotors and ground-vehicles.

Dancebots

A differential-drive robot controlled using MP3 files. It was built to teach students about electronics and programming. Over 10,000 students across Europe have built and programmed their own Dancebot.

Distributed Flight Array

A self-assembling modular drone that can be flown in an unlimited number of configurations. Used as a unique testbed for evaluating various control and estimation techniques, as well as for public education. It produced at least 9 peer-reviewed papers, 10 international presentations, and received 3 international awards.

An wireless resonant magnetic micro-actuator capable of moving autonomously and manipulating micrometer-sized objects. Winner of the 2007 Nanogram RoboCup.
